As a writer-editor-nonprofiteer, I currently support the Ad Council, the national nonprofit that created historic public service campaigns including Smokey Bear, Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk, and Love Has No Labels, as it now focuses on getting out critical messaging about COVID-19 vaccine education, racial justice and equity, gun safety, mental health, and other urgent issues.

I previously published Please Read, a weekly email newsletter that championed new fiction from diverse voices. I’ve written and edited for publications and websites including Los Angeles, Out, Paper, UrbanDaddy and Variety, and I’ve ghostwritten op-eds for Entrepreneur and Aspen Ideas.
